Club History

United Pirates Rugby Sports Club was formed in 1964, when United Oldboys and Pirates clubs combined.

In 1993 the name of the club was changed from United Pirates Rugby Sports Club to Te Puke Sports and Recreation Club to better identify with the Te Puke area, and to broaden the range of activities undertaken by the club.

The club has a strong loyal membership, with some members still in the club from the United Oldboys days.
